Product Description

Created in 1988, Château LAMOTHE-CISSAC's Vieilles Vignes cuvée is only made in vintages where nature's bounty allows us to extract the power and concentration specific to our terroirs. This cuvée is vinified like a Grand Cru, perfect for aesthetes. With low yields and a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Vieilles Vignes will appeal to the most discerning wine-lovers. This wine is best appreciated after several years' cellaring. It reaches its peak between 20 and 30 years of age.

Its main characteristics are a deep purple colour and great aromatic complexity, with a fine balance between rich fruit and new wood. Its aromas of cloves, spices and light tobacco make it a generous, powerful and elegant wine for laying down. This wine is perfect with red meat or strong cheeses.
