THE HISTORIC WINE OF THE FAMILY Château Lamothe-Cissac is the flagship of the Domaines Fabre due to its history, its international recognition and the quality of its wines.
When young, the wines of Château Lamothe-Cissac have a lovely deep ruby colour. When they are aired, they display a wide range of aromas, combining notes of red fruit (blackcurrant), cooked fruit and sweet spices. The vanilla aromas are very well integrated. The palate is well-balanced, with plenty of supple tannins and a very delicate finish. This wine has good cellaring potential and, over the years, will reveal complex notes of leather, undergrowth and smokiness. As for accompaniments, this wine is ideal with red meat or cheese.
